Looking to get your foot in the door at the most exciting technology firm in Edmonton? We’re hiring a Software Developer - Mobile Apps who values self-improvement, focus, and positivity to help build and grow our product. 


In this role, you'll get a chance to design, build, and improve on each part of our tech stack, with an initial emphasis on front end development. You’d work closely with members of the engineering, data science, product and sales teams in a collaborative environment to design and implement new products and features.


This position is full-time in Edmonton, AB, Canada. We welcome local applicants, as well as any Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or eligible international applicants willing to relocate.   


What You'll Work On


As a Software Developer - Mobile Apps you’ll initially be focused on:


  • Building support for mobile apps
  • Launching new clients, including testing and troubleshooting installations
  • Building the tools that millions of shoppers interact with daily
  • Participating in code reviews, sharing knowledge, feedback, and ideas
  • Learning!

Fundamentals:


  • Experience with iOS, Swift, Android, Java
  • Experience with App store processes
  • Understanding of MVC and MVVM architectures
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent degree / experience


Bonus Points:


  • Source control (Git) and familiarity with unix command line
  • Experience working as a front-end developer in an Agile environment
  • Experience with modern JS libraries and frameworks, such as jQuery, Coffeescript, SASS, Ember, Angular, React, Gulp, Grunt, WebPack, or others
  • Experience working with Tag Management Systems such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium and Signal
  • Experience integrating with analytics packages such as Google Analytics and Omniture
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Experience with Ruby / Ruby on Rails, SQL, Redis, Hadoop, and/or Spark
  • Understanding of machine learning
